- Honestly
Trey’s optimistic world comes crashing down. He can’t get out of there fast enough. And this time, its Monica who stays behind, determined to get hammered.
Monica’s co-workers confirm that Trey is, in fact, divorced. Sure that she’s lost who could be the love of her life, Monica knows its time to leave her job and re-acquire old ambitions long forgotten. She decides to leave town.
Trey is also haunted by how close he came to being with the one he loved. But upon learning that their last meeting was not one ordered by Lilah, and that Monica was there on her own, he’s convinced that maybe, just maybe, the feelings he has are mutual.

And just a slight possibility is all he needs. He literally tracks her down in a traffic jam, and on foot, races to her car. Finally face-to-face again, the confusion is unraveled. And amongst the motionless cars, they kiss passionately. But this time, there’s not a tape recorder in sight - just a few hundred witnesses on their way to work.
